Nice boats but I hope you're under 5'4" tall and 140lb otherwise you're not going to get in the cuddy. It's tiny as hell. Good for little kids only, or storage.

I'm 6'2 200lb and couldn't sit or lay down inside the 2013 S215 at the Miami boat show.

Already talked to them, was near a deal but the boat is missing SLX package and Windlass.

Hmm Im around 6' and same weight as you, is there any pictures to see online how tiny the cuddy is? Because this does not sound good!

The above Boat Trader link has a good pic of the cuddy, and you can see how small it is. I think you would have better luck in a S235 or even the S265. I got into a S265 at the Toronto show, the cuddy was just a little bigger than my 1996 205! This is because new boats now include swim platforms in the LOA, so in reality the S265 is more like a 22-23 foot boat. You could try for a little older Sundowner, unless your set on new.

That doesn't make sense :? Are you a broker?

Offering inter-continental cash deals is also a bit confusing.

No Im not a broker, just saying it does not matter of the location as I know its hard to get a S215 outside US, therefor Im open where ever the boat is located, to export a boat is not magic you guys.

If you plan to use the cuddy of the S215 for storage, it should be fine. For overnites ....... I would look at another boat/brand that offers more room. Also, because of the layout, there is less room in the cockpit of an S215 than an 18ft. bowrider.

So, if you want to really get a S215. Contact these guys, they are local to me and based on my conversations with a salesman I know quite well at
the dealership, they would love to get rid of the S215 they have. He told me there has been little to no interest in the cuddys' they have in stock.
The dealership bought when they were first released, and have been sitting in his showroom for years collecting dust.

Post subject:  Re: WTB: Four Winns S215 2013-2015

When the S215 came out I was initially in love with the boat, I thought it would be the perfect upgrade from my 2003 Chaparral 215 SSI. I drove down to the Miami boat show just to see that boat when it came out so I would have a goal to reach one day of buying one.

Upon climbing in, as said previous... it's a TINY boat. It might be 21ft feet long like my current boat, but it's cheating. The built in swim platform and bow roller count as the LOA, the S215 is actually a 17ft boat. The outside seating has about as much room as a Mazda Miata and the "cabin" is not for adults. Let's look at some pictures below. Keep in mind that Four Winns (and all boat manufacturers) use very short people so their vessels look larger.

Image

If you pay close attention, the little kid in the back he's not putting his legs down because there quite honestly isn't enough room. The adults up front look comfortable but keep in mind she's probably 5'0" and he's 5'4"

Let's look at the inside:
Image

The cabin has lowered seats because you can not sit in the V-berth. I'm 6'2 and I still could not sit in the seats. My girlfriend at the time was 5'5 and she was still rubbing her head on the roof. Want to lay down for a nap? Sure, if you keep the door open so your feet stick out. You can use the IPAD for reference which is 9" tall, the length of the inside cabin is only 5ft. The height in the front of the berth is only 2ft.

Image

Let's look at the top view:
Image

These seats are on sliding rails and are pushed forward, easily told because the steering wheel is even with the front of the drivers seat. I'm not sure about you, but the distance between the front of my seat and the wheel is about 8-12in which slides the seats into the rear seats. Again, this is what I saw in person also.

If you're trying to compare boat sizes here's a reference: A 2005 model Sundowner 205 is equal to a 2014 s235. A 2005 model Sundowner 225 is equal to a 2014 S265.

Do you have to have a S215? Like I said above, look at a 235/265.
