This is tempting:

What do you guys think? For 22k it seems like a good deal for a new h190 with 2 hours of use. I talked to the guy and he said he just doesn't use it, so as long as it was stored properly (winterized) I think it would be a good boat.

The boat looks great. One thing though I am not a fan of those narrow engine compartments on newer I/O boats because unless that 'glass around the engine comes off, it can make a real horror show of having to replace anything on the rear or sides of the engine, like starters or exhaust manifold. If you are going to maintain this yourself, make sure you can reach all the engine drains. There is a remote oil filter which is good because if there wasn't in that engine compartment it would be very tough to get at. On the older boats like mine the rear seats come out and the engine is wide open. Only way to have an I/O if you're doing your own work.....

It does look like fun, but any boat of that vintage (open boat with carpeting) is about 90% likely to have rotten wood in the stringers, floor, and possibly the transom. Assume it does unless they can prove otherwise.

Looking for a well-cared for Horizon 180 or 190.

Requirements:
-Fiberglass construction (no wood)
-4 stroke w/ fuel injection

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Within your discussion of "requirements" and your follow up posts, you mention a preference for outboard power. You also mention fuel injection and fiberglass construction.

It seems you are looking at a much broader series of boats than your requirements.

What is it you really are looking for and why are you looking for that?...ask the question to your self. Do you want an OB for a specific reason? Would an I/O work for your use?

Do you want an older "cheaper" boat that may require lots of maintenance and potential repair or a new/newer boat that should be ready to use?

I found this thing about two hours away:

4.3GL with 1000 hours on it! I think it was used as a rental boat. Interior could use some work, too.
