Look at the threads by 230 Mike about this product. I used it for half a season, if that. I bought the boat I used it on Memorial Day of '08, and it wasn't one of the first things I did to it. It was on the trailer, inside, over the winter. Mint/NEW condition, I'm including the mounting hardware and the hard plastic washers I bought so it wouldn't mar the paint on the trailer.

I don't recall seeing the mounting spot for it on the 268s trailer like there was on the 225s. I just looked at my pics, and can't see it. Am I wrong? Is there a spot to mount it on a 268s trailer?

Sure ... if it's a FW trailer, it will have that same angled brace for the winch stand.

My trailer configuration is a lot like M3eater's. I hate fighting with the ratchet strap that came with mine. I'll find a way to make it work. Anybody want a slightly used ratchet tie down? :mrgreen:

On my 225 it had a hole already there that I mounted it to. I'm sure on the 268s trailer you could just add that hole?
