Sounds like someone has the ITCH bad!

There were a few real nice ones out there when I was looking for my 268, there is an '06 278 Blue CCB that is way out east, but it is bare bones, no AC even.

A good friend is getitng serious about jumping from wakeboard boat to cruiser.... He likes the Four Winns, but the Seattle dealer is proving shady at best. The ad is up one day, and magically pulled the next for 20 grand more.

He'd like to go new if the price is right Would like the basics like heat/ac and a good engine package... Shanman's boat is sweet, but he really wants the arch. He isn't going to be a trailerboater any longer. He would've been all over BHurley's 288 - but wasn't ready at the time.

Timing is everything....

So - before he jumps to Sea Ray - I figured I'd put some feelers out there.

Asking 129K No clue if that is a good price or what they really want for it.

I realize my suggestions will fall on deaf ears, but I'll put up a few I have found, FWIW.

http://boston.olx.com/2007-four-winns-2 ... d-48534530

http://marinesource.com/boat-sales/2007 ... 426337.cfm

In Canada w/tube arch, nice looking boat....
http://www.boatcan.com/showboat.php?ad=1182884395

Too bad he needs an arch (why I can't imagine)
http://www.boats.com/listing/dealer_boa ... k=preowned

A 288 at the same dealer (too old, I know)

http://www.boats.com/listing/dealer_boa ... k=preowned

And one to seriously consider............

http://www.boats.com/listing/dealer_boa ... k=preowned

If he has any interest in a 2003 320 Sundancer for $86K, let me know...

Thanks Cap'n...

These are all very 'ballpark'.

He really does wantt the arch... fiberglass... In seattle - radar during the fall/winter is pretty common - so he needs to mount that. Adding an arch to a boat wouldn't be so bad if it didn't mean all new canvas as well....

That 320 for 86k sounds like quite a move up from a 278...might save your friend a step in a few years!

The first boat that Cap'n posted is a real jewel. The price is definitely right and it appears to have several options.

It does look very nice. I passed that one onto my friend to think about...

Keep 'em coming... you guys know inventory better than anything online.

And props to Cap'n... he can find stuff that many of us sure don't notice...
