I have a 1991 Four Winns 200 Horizon. In getting her ready for the upcoming season, I noticed the port-side bow rail end is busted. Apparently, the weld that connects the mounting stud to the inside of the rail end is broken. I've looked all over for the part, and have called over 15 boat salvage yards across the country trying to locate the part. Today I will start calling dealers directly. At this point cost is of no concern. If anyone out there knows of a salvage yard that has a parts boat or if someone has a 90-92 horizon 200 sitting around, please let me know. I was thinking about get the part machined, but everybody I talked to says between 75 and 100 dollars: Which is alittle ridiculous. Anyway, any leads would be appreciated. Unless I'm misunderstanding the problem, I think $75-100 will end up being less than the part will cost if you can find it. |
