Just as we thought we would wait awhile, the admiral and I inked a deal on a Carver 325 last week, so on around July 1st, I will be an ex-FW Vista owner.

I really like the Vista, and really hate to see it go. I am actually finding myself being a bit sad all this week. But, have to go on to a bigger boat, and the admiral likes the room in a motoryacht more than an express cruiser.

So I am not sure how active I will be here in the future. If anyone has a Vista 268 question that I can answer (I have literally tore apart the boat a couple of times), I'll try and help, but as I get further from ownership of my Vista, the more I'll forget.

Some of you may have seen photos on BABC, but I'll share one here:

Al,
We will miss you. I have enjoyed swapping ideas with you and comparing projects. I just completed installing a windlass and noted that FW didn't run the wiring for mine. Made for lots of extra work. IN the end, the project was worth the effort.

Keep us posted on your new one and hope the job hold for a while longer.
