I respectfully disagree with Cap'n.

The 318 is an amazing boat. Go for it! Maybe it's because I own one -- but I haven't found anything that is 'better'.

Cap'n - any supporting examples?

If you don't like the layout - that's subjective and personal taste. The design and finish work on ours is superior to comparable Sea Ray's, Formula's, Rinkers, etc that I have seen.
