Hi,

Just got myself a deal on a nice 1992 Horizon 190 (mechanically great) with a UV-rotted interior. Before I go the route of re-upholstering the whole boat I thought I would check to see if anyone has a nice interior to sell me.

Regards,
Gedy

I think you'll find that the upholstery will need to redone. Chances of somebody having a good interior are very slim.

Check Ebay.. in the past I have seen complete boat interiors from newer boatsthat you could modify to suit. These are usually overruns that some of the surplus guys have picked up.

I did this on my 88 Horizon, I had new bow cushions made by a local shop, and the owner advised me to buy new seats as it would actually be cheaper than redoing the FW seats, so I got some from Overtons' that matched the interior color scheme well and it came out nice! Did this back in 2003/2005 or so when I redid the deck on this boat. Now I have to get the hull sides (oxidized red gelcoat) painted and that's it for this old boat....

Guys -Thanks for the advice. I'll try to get some quotes for the whole job (right time of year and with the economy the way it is....) and will see if it makes sense to buy at least the lounge seats (Overton's and/or used) and pay just for the custom pieces....

Here's what I used, these for the helm seats...but in a different color scheme than shown here because it was about 5 years ago...

and these for the rear bench (2 pontoon lounges put together) they come in a 36" width and that fit with a little work on the shelf on the coaming panel....

They were cheaper at that time though and for the rear seat it might be cheaper to have it redone depending on labor prices in your area....
