Greeting from Auckland New Zealand I have recently sold my old boat and am having withdrawl symptoms, specaily as we have one of the best boating and cruising area's in the world ( shameless promotion for NZ ) Thinking of buying a 268 or 278 vista or something similar like a Sea Ray 260. Being a small country not a lot of GOOD quality boats of this type about to choose from so considering importing from the US of A Would appreciate any feed back from forum members of what I would expect to pay so can do my sums as to the viability of importing a second hand boat. Ideal boat would be 2004 or newer ( less than 250 hours ) , single engine and genset would be a bonus particularly as we often stay out for several days at a time and local power voltage here is 220-230 Volts so would need to convert if using shore power. Trailer as would probably store the boat in my warehouse over the winter and drystack over summer plus would make it easier to ship and transport. Fresh water lake boat or well serviced salt water boat that has not been left on a marina. Oh .. and I'm fussy so must be in very good condition. Any advice , price guides or potential sellers would be much appreciated. Thanks Mark |
