Has anybody tried to load a raster chart on a SD card to display it on there Garmin GPS??

No, but HERE is a tutorial on how to do it. You will need quite a bit of software and steps to do it. Everything you need is in the tutorial. GPS Map series GPS is needed however.

I called Garmin before posting this. They did not know!

I really don't want to convert the charts. I am buying a new GPS and charts I have, like Maptech & Rosepoint. Why buy it preloaded, pay extra, when I have them and NOAA updates them. I was just wondering if anybody has tried!! To convert 60 plus maps, it is not worth it.
