Hello All,

I am looking for a 2000-2002 Four Winns Vista 268.

Something that is located in or near Detroit, MI is preferrable but for the right boat I will also look into shipping one to me.

I have already been through Boats.com, Boattrader.com and Yachtworld but I have not found the right one yet.

Please let me know if anyone knows of any out there.

Thank you.
Trevor

Trevor: I have a mint 2000 268 with the big block. It has always been kept in doors and is flawless. I live in cadillac, so am about three hours away. If interested, please let me know how to get in touch with you. Pete

I'm sure you have seen this one since it is in D-town, but I'll post a link anyway. This is priced a bit high, but probably could be negotiated down closer to $20K. That is really all it is worth.

2000 268 Vista $25,900

Thanks Cap'n ...

That boat actually sold last Friday for $24k. I saw it because it is literally located about 5 min down the street.

Thank you all for posting here and helping out.

I am in discussions with the boat out in Chicago but still looking for alternatives.

I am now going all the way up to 2004.

Thanks Again!
Trevor

I've been to look that the first one in Cap'ns most recent post, about 2 years ago. Price was too high then, more reasonable now. I don't think they are real serious about selling since more pictures have been coming for 2 years.... (If I hired a broker and they did that bad a job selling for me, I'd move my boat elsewhere.)

We aren't yet serious to move up, but would hold out for Gen, A/C, windlass, fully loaded boat. That one has all that and was in good shape although I saw it way back in a storage yard still shrink wrapped and not cleaned up.

The reason that 2004 is so cheap is because its a scam! beware ,I have seen this exact boat advertised for sale for 4 different prices by 4 seperate sellers in differnt locations all around the States ,I even looked into buying myself ,then got an email saying the owner was a soldier over in Afganistan ,then came all the exscuses etc etc ,I then found it on craigslist ,boat trader and geebo, priced from 22-48k ,I emailed all the sellers and asked who owned the boat ,and not one of them replied,DANGER DANGER DANGER,KEEP WELL AWAY FROM BUYING THIS BOAT!

Thank you Kiwi ...

That is what I thought - especially with a Chicago boat with a bunch of pictures of Palm Trees in the back with Florida license plates.

Dont these people look at details?

you are welcome ,I must admit it took me a while to click onto the deal ,but honestly if it looks too good to be true...chances are it is.great looking boat in nice condition too by the looks of the pictures, what a shame there are dishonest people around that tend to spoil things for those of us who are actually honest :D

I also looked at the $22K boat, figured it was a scam.

You may have seen this as well, and it is far from your area, but the dealer is fantastic. I bought my 2010 H-210 from them and both sales and service are friendly and fair.
