Looking for a 1992 or 1993 Four Winns Freedom with a Johnson 90 or 115 hp outboard. I can pay around $3000 depending on the condition. I may be willing to ship the boat here if it is not too far from Arizona. Thanks.

That last one on the list is closest to what the OP is looking for.

He wants an outboard. 8)

A 2001 with OB for $4250 seems like a really good price. Assuming it is in good condition I would jump on that if it were close me.

Compared to the 1993 hull design the 2001 is better in many ways. The 2001 will have a full fiberglass liner so the concerns about deck rot are esssentially gone. The basic hull shape is also taller and better suited to use in slightly rougher condition. The 1993 hulls have very low freeboard and the nose dips down considerably. They can be swamped pretty easily...ask me how I know.

That all being said, when I was looking at boats last year, I was very seriously considering several boat from the same generation at the 1993 hull design. I only considered boats with outboards.

If you can find a nice 1993 with an OB that has been well maintained it could make a good boat. If you can stretch your budget and consider something like the 2001 posted it could be a GREAT boat.
