I'm switching to Optima AGM batteries this season. I bought 2 new Interstate Marine batteries last year in July. One's a Group 24 cranking battery (800 CCA/1000 MCA). The other is a Group 27 deep cycle (600 CCA/750 MCA). I paid $230 for the pair. Asking $100 + shipping for the pair. Let me know if anyone's interested.

I get all my batteries from Deka. Do a dealer search:
http://www.dekabatteries.com/default.aspx?pageid=10

They sell re-manufacturered deep cycles for $40 with warranty.

It was a great deal! I live in Columbus and my brother in Cincy, so it really helped me save on the shiping costs. This guy was a great to deal with too.

Thanks, Hutch! It was a seemless deal, although I think Hutch owes his brother a boat ride or two.....

Good thing I bought those new batteries! I splashed this weekend and still had the old ones in, barely turned the engine over and I had just put a charge on them the weekend before. I was able to get it started, but I was getting worried. Thanks for selling those to me, now I just need to get my brother up here or get my butt down there! :)
