Thanks for getting rid of them! I got up this morning to read the forums and couldn't believe all the old threads that were resurrected then I noticed the comments were from the same person who had just joined. Couldn't spell any better than I could either.

If you are referring to me I guess you could say I was really excited to be part of a boating forum the first ever. I do post a lot on here as I am new to boating and I really love anything that has to do with boating being a first time boat owner. As far as the old threads is there an unwritten law that says you can't comment on something just because it is old? I have also contributed a couple of threads that have become pretty popular case in point would be my Hurricane Irene thread. I am by far not a spammer. And I really appreciate all the info that all the members have given me on this forum.

Dude, everyone, including Scott knows you are not a spammer, but PLEASE try and limit digging up old threads. I realize they are interesting to you being a newb, but sometimes an old thread just deserves to be left alone. Read them, enjoy them, and let old dogs lie.
It is annoying to come on this board in the morning and see a dozen threads we all read a few years ago, on top of the active topics list.

You are correct and I see your point and as you have probably noticed I stopped digging up old post LOL! I actually didn't even see the dates when I was AKA digging them up. I am really sorry for disturbing the status quo on my first couple of times on here I just love listening to the knowledge that you all extend to a newb in the pond. So how did you fair for the storm Cap'n?

I know for a fact that Jafo4U didn't realize he was pulling up old threads because he pulled up the March of 2009 thread "Snowing Again" and replied on August 5th, 2011, "You need to move to miami and leave all that snow behind brother. Have a great day brother." LOL. Oh well, live and learn.

My wife and I decided to book a Carnival Cruise because they advertise themselves as the fun ship and we wanted to expose our 15 year old son and his friend to cruising. We ourselves have sailed together 4 times, once with RCL and Celebrity, and twice with Holland America. We booked the 4 day western Caribbean cruise on the Fascination out of Miami because we wanted to take the boys to Cozumel.
We drove from South Carolina to Miami over two days. My first tip to anyone driving to Port Miami is to gas up your car in Fort Lauderdale before arriving at Miami. I-95 into Miami is a nightmare to drive. There are a lot of exits with no entrances back onto the highway. Most of the exits dump you into the ghettos. When you exit to get to the port you have to drive through some very rough parts of town to get to the docks so gassing up will save you a lot of grief. We paid $48 to park in the parking garage which was not too bad. The garage is in close proximity to the ship.

Looks like we need a 3rd shift mod for Spam cleanup. At least one or two attack every night lately. :|
