really?


I have a 600x800 image that's like 120k to reply about the bimini top and I can't post it without breaking out the whole image editing tools to make it fit someones 15" CRT monitor from 1992. Frustrating.

Can't you resize your photo in your image hosting site? I don't think it takes that long.

because I don't want to have to scroll past mega images.

Never has been a problem here with image size, until recently.....

Normally 1024x768 is accepted everywhere (or 768x1024). Not too big but big enough to see detail.

Monitors are dirt cheap, a nice 22" widescreen won't run you much more then $120 bucks. No more scrolling.

And that is the size. Hence, why a 600x800 is to much in height.1024x768 is kind of the "new" lowest common denominater. With a 800 pixel tall image, the add in tool bar and footer = scroll.
