Can the forum software be configured to send the text of a reply when doing a thread notification e-mail? Some forums have the option (or default to it) of sending you the actual reply that someone else posted. This instead of just the generic boilerplate notification text. It helps decide if the thread is interesting enough to jump back to it. Of course, all threads are interesting, but sometimes you have to prioritize how you spend your time! Seeing the reply text helps do that.

The only "downside" is you don't get a page-read count. Someone doesn't "have to" visit the web page to see what the reply was. But, like I mentioned, if it's interesting they'll come visit the web page anyway.

So, is it an option that can be enabled?

negative...i looked into it from the beginning.
you have to pay extra for those special features

maybe on the next upgrade.
