Radio issues outside only

Good morning, we have a 2008 Vista 338. We have 2 separate radio (1 for the cabin and the other one for outside) in the cabin it works great outside it does not work at all. CDs are working outside, I've checked the connections seems all good. Anybody had this problem?

Checked the breakers? I'm having an issue pop up with the remote displays not working, but they will control the radio.

Good morning firecadet613, thanks for your reply, yes I have checked the breakers they are all pushed.. I'll try to check more and will post when I will find the issue.. I am just hoping I don't need to re-wire the antena for this radio. Radio should work on both of them at the same time right?

The outside radio plays CDs but does not work when you try to listen to radio stations?

If I remember correctly, I think that is what happened to my Sony unit. I ended up replacing it.

You could always try swapping them (if they are the same) and see if the problem follows the unit....

Firecadet: I still think your remote display issue is related to the BUS cable. If neither display works, but still controls your system, I'd be looking behind the stereo to see if the Y-splitter has popped off.

no the y splitter is has not popped off.. What will happen maybe I'll rewire the antena wire from radio to the y-splitter..

You have to upload your pics to an image hosting site (like photobucket, etc) and then put the link in as you did above.

Can't post pics from your computer/desktop/hard drive. Must be from a photo sharing site, like photobucket, etc.

When you say not working. What happens or not happens? CDs work, so you are getting sound. The radio is not working? Are you getting static, no display, what?

Since the CDs are working, I don't think its the remotes. Remotes general lock up the whole unit, but I would unplug then anyways. It only takes a minute.

If the CDs work fine and your getting sound I don't see how swapping the uints will do anything. The problem will fellow the unit. Its not a speaker or power problem. It sounds like the unit itself.
