We have the same U-shape configuration and you are actaully missing 2 cushions. There is a bottom piece that completes the sitting section, and a top piece that completes the backrest/swimpad.

We use ours rarely, most often when we are going on a slow cruise with many friends and need the extra seating. Otherwise they stay in the lakeside shed we have next to our dock. Unless you will need the extra seating on a regular basis, I wouldn't worry about it.

As for the cooler, I'd be surprised if the area created for the cooler wouldn't fit the one you want. The tolerances are not that tight. Worst case, buy it and try it. Keep the sales slip and if it doesn't work, return it.

Thanks for the information. You are correct in that both pieces are missing in the photo. I actually have the top piece to complete the backrest/swimpad, but the bottom cushion is missing.

Looking at the measurements again, the Coleman is almost two inches bigger than the Igloo. I think millhaven_nice_guy was going to measure his cooler storage for me, but I am beginning to think it would best to go ahead and order the Igloo.

Thanks,

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I actually forgot until I re-read the post last night. I measured this morning and the opening for the cooler is only 13 1/2" x 24" (tight) and would accept approximately an 14" deep cooler. Make sure the lid is not hinged! There won't be any room to fold it back. I also did not get the cooler with my boat I guess it is a common item to "pocket" when you sell the boat.

On our H200 we used the glove box cooler for immediate drinks and kept a larger cooler in the ski locker to replenish it. You would be amazed at how long ice wll stay in the glove box coolers, they work really well! You may want to consider the same thing so you can store other bulkier items where the cooler goes (ie. mooring cover, tube, life jackets, BBQ etc...)

Thanks for the info. I'm probably going to go ahead and order the Igloo. It is hinged, but I'm pretty sure it is the one that comes on the current FourWinns boats. The lid is pretty thin so hopefully it will open. If anyone else can confirm that the Igloo one with the hinges can open and close while in the "hole", I would appreciate it.

Sounds like a great suggestion when you don't need to carry as much.

Thanks again,
