Delicious. My favorite thing to do with corn is to walk down to the beach near our house at around noon, grab a bucket full of seawater, toss the corn with husks and all into the bucket, then go back to the beach/boat for the rest of the day. Around dinner time, toss them on the grill at low heat. When the husks begin to catch on fire, they are done. Natural sea salt with sweet local corn...needs nothing else and everyone loves it.

When we make corn for a large group of people, we do it in a cooler. People call it "Cooler Corn". Tastes awesome and if you keep it in the cooler you can enjoy it for a couple hours after.

It goes direct from the kitchen table to the grill at the light of the fire for pre heat. and pull off when meat is done. top rack it always comes out just right. I slow slow slow cooked the bbq chicken for 2.5 hours and had the corn on the entire time.. then sunday we grilled the left over burgers (normal burger grilling temps) and corn was perfect again but was placed on the lower racks. this time of year local fresh sweet corn is the best. I got 3 bushels last week.

We were just at Grand Traverse Bay a couple days before the cherry festival. Felt like we had the whole bay to ourselves!! Beautiful day and water was pristine! Cool pics of the party during the cherry festival. Looked like a blast.

Good lord no! That water was freezing. I could feel the cold radiating off the back of my boat after we pulled it out and I was tying it down. Reminds me of the ice bath after football practice.

We did swim in Higgins lake last week though. It was chilly but nice! My little one had a blast :D

what kids of temps do y'all have? On the 4th of July I was reading 84.4* F and an air temp of 88*. water felt amazing. Though in the 130'-160' areas we were drifting and swimming their were a few cold zones about 20' or so dive off of the stern. But very refreshing for the air temps.

The water temps where I boat/live are are between 50-55F with maybe a few shallow areas hitting 60.

I live on the St. Mary's river that flows from Lake Superior to Lake Huron. Lake Huron was 35F on June 1st when I was out there.

Wow...I thought we had a short season but you all take the cake! It's 69 now in the middle of Nantucket Sound, 13 mi off shore 2 feet below water surface. The bay next to our house was 74 over the weekend, which is perfect for the 78-80 degree weather we have received so far. We had one day hit low 80s, but generally we are 10 degrees lower than off island.

Lucky.. It been in the mid 90's this month and next will be in the upper 90s low 100s. Water temps in the mid 80s.

I absolutely love going out for a boat ride when it's in the 70's.

Haha. It wasn't so bad after quite a few adult beverages. You really feel alive(and sober) after a dip like that.
I think the bay is around 50F at the moment.

The Coast Guard took some pics from the helicopters. We are right in the middle of this one:

Table Rock Lake over the 4th of July. We had a great time and the weather and water couldn't have been better.
