We bought the camper top option new from Four Winns for our '95 190 Horizon. We did use it some, maybe a few nights some years but not every year. It took some time to reconfigure the boat for an overnight, but we felt more comfortable sleeping on the boat than dealing with uninvited insects or other "visitors" if we were tent-camping. You might want to bring water, some sort of portapotty, cooking equipment, paper towels (that can also be used to help seal camper top joints), etc. We had the Sunsport interior with the swivel buckets and rear bench seat. We were able to always have the camper top on board. We stored the canvas tops with frames in the engine compartment and the front, sides, and rear panels in a side shelf. Roll up anything with isinglass in cloth like a bed sheet, flannel sheet, or other make a soft fabric bag. We have also used a small diameter swim noodle to roll the isinglass around to avoid wrinkles or creases. The camper top came in handy when we had an un-forecasted rain shower or pop-up thunderstorm. It sure beat getting drenched by driving or heavy rain. We also used it a few times for cooler weather early or late in the boating season. Just blocking the wind made the temp inside the boat much more comfortable. Hope this helps. Gary
Very helpful...thank you!
