I work for an Off-Hwy truck manufacturer and previously for John Deere and it was quite easy to purchase die-cast models for both. Does anyone know if FW's has any for sale? I think it would be cool to put one on my desk and make everyone around me jealous. Do Genmar employees (hopefully they still have a job) have any or access to any???

Thanks in advance!

The die-cast market requires at least the likelihood of a lot of potential sales. I don't know that boat sales are in high enough volume to even come close to making it worthwhile. Even more popular brands like Sea Ray aren't usually offered. Most of the time it's just a generic looking 'boat', not a specific model or brand.

You could probably start making Crownline models. I hear the molds are available.

ouch. Good one, Mike! There's probably a market, but it's a small one. I have a growing collection of NASCAR die casts, and having a Horizon alongside would be pretty cool...but alas, no one's going to make them if only a few hundred might get sold.

If FW released some cad models, they could be 3D printed nowadays for a couple hundred bucks, depending on the size.
The model could then be prepped and painted for you DIY's. I'd love to have a 1/10th scale model of my boat.
