In the latest issue of Boating magazine , there is a topic regarding a trip that was done from the great lakes via the mississipi and up the eatsern seaboard back to the lakes...does anyone knows if there is any restriction regarding boat size to enter the river system from Chicago (height or draft) ? And also any previous threads on that kind of trip?

Tks

Dan

Do a Google search on "the great loop" and start reading.

If your talking about your 318, no problem. I know of a 338 that goes up the Chicago River.
