Hi all,

On some of the newer Funships, I notice that the aft storage locker (just above the swim step) has been replaced by a lounge.

Has anyone converted from storage to lounge? Is it just a replacement unit with a seat pad?

I have not done it yet, But I was told by the parts guy at FourWinns it is an easy change over, You have to order a completely new engine hatch cover,

They molded the engine cover to fit the new seats.

Oh and I for get what the exact price was, But the price is up there pretty high.

By "pretty high", would you estimate it in the $500-$1000 range, or higher than that? Don't know that I'll take that plunge right now, but it is kind of a cool feature. All I store in that compartment is my ski ropes/gloves anyway....

Do you have a photo? Sounds interesting.

I'm trying to remember I know it's over $1000.00, And if I remember right to have it installed by a dealer it would be over $1500.00 I think, It was around two years ago he told me this in general conversation.

There should be some photos of it somewhere online at the fourwinns site, Just look up the newer funships.
