Me too and I know what your talking about....having the tower is a must for us now....I have not slung this boat since I just got it, but in the past have tied off in the slip and called it a done deal. After a bad lift incident at a rental home I am always leary. Had my old boat just clearing water on a sling when the rear cable gave way - was at house just below dam that was kicking water hard and a lot of current - I dove into the boat and fired it up just as the front cable/sling snapped.

House owner was just standing there - "ummm it holds my boat all the time and thought it would be fine"....i said yeah right, this thing wouldn't hold a canoe. Just a word of caution - triple check those cables and condition of lift.

THANKS EVERYONE for the warm Welcome Aboard! TX H210SS, I really Thank You for the Advice about strapping down my top & avoiding a rip in the cover zippers. Can't imagine 12 years of payments on something that doesn't have four bedrooms and a 3 car garage.
