Just got back from a 9 day trip to Bimini, Bahamas with the wife and four kids (and dog LOL!) We stayed aboard for the entire time and had the time of our lives. We absolutely love our Four Winns and use her to the max! 8)

Thought I'd share this one with my fellow FW owners. Crank it up and enjoy the trip!

Awesome video and great looking family. I have a 298 Vista and 4 kids (and a dog) as well and we stay on our boat for days on end too (2 1/2 weeks straight this summer). However, your gorgeous Bimini scenery sure beats the hell out of our drab lake view. No need for an underwater camera here. Thanks.

I cant tell you how awesome that is. Its truly a dream for me to do something like that with my family. Great family time spent on board something that is obviously your family's passion, in a place many will never see. Great memories were made...

Good job dad!

Side note....Vista 328?

Holy smokes! That looks like a great trip and what an awesome video. Totally jealous. Thanks for sharing. Moments like that are exactly what family and boating are all about.

Narcosis,

Awesome video! Did you make the trek on your own? Are you from Miami?

Yeah! This is why we ALL have boats. What a great trip. I'm sure this video will be played for many years to come. Bring this one out at graduation and wedding time in a few years. Great trip!

Incredible trip. Something to be said about living where it's warm all year.

Absolutely awesome video - thanks for sharing... makes me quite jealous as we shiver through winter here at the moment!

Thanks guys! We are in a Vista 298 and made the trip on our own (but prepared with plenty of spares and preparedness). We live in the South Miami area, but keep the boat in the Keys. The trip was awesome and its cool to be able to share it with people that have the same passion!

Nice. Portions of your video are as good as the ones you see on nature shows.

So, is that about 55-60 miles of open water between Miami and Bimini?

That's one of the best, and best made, videos I've ever seen. I'd be interested in some camera details!

Any idea how much fuel burned for the whole trip?

Great looking family, great boat, great water... you're living right.

Amazing video. I was born and raised in the S Miami Kendall area. It took me moving to land locked Colorado before I bought my FW, go figure. Thanks for posting it!

Thanks again for the kudos guys. I used a Kodak PlaySport ($129) and a Sanyo HD1A. I ended up flooding my PlaySport while wrestling with a lobster though.

By my calculations I burned about 320 gallons of fuel which includes the 59NM run from Islamorada to Miami Beach (inside route), the 45NM of open water from Miami Beach to Bimini, cruising around the islands (North Bimini, South Bimini, Gun Cay, and Cat Cay), and then the return trip.
