I/O powered boats with twins, throttles/shifters are usually always at the right of the helm. On inboard powered boats, throttles are on one side, shifters are on the other side.
Same as the 348 helm in this picture.

Nice try capn! My next boat will have electronic throttles.
I'll believe that when I see it. You are easily impressed.
An luxury that adds $10K to the purchase price of a new boat, and not worth that
on a used boat. Sorta like windshield wipers on your headlights, nice to have, but you can live without them.
Here is what Fire should look at this weekend.

Just a quick question are the shifters always on the right side on these bigger boats? Aren't they usually on the right side? Just curious.
So Cap'n what gives here. The ad says B3 drives yet it has shifters/throttles on both sides. Ive seen this before, is this just a spec item at order, if your an OB guy and love the seperate throttle/shifters, then they order it this way?

The DTS shift throttle is an awesome addtion, I really like the one lever feature where when selected along with the sync function, both motors are synced and run off of the port shifter as if it were a single.
