Hello everyone. I have searched the net to find the answer, but to no avail. Has anyone ever tried mounting the magma grill to the bimini support poles? I have the two-piece full bimini on my sundowner, and I am really trying to figure out where to mount the kettle grill. I was thinking of using a flushmount socket like this

but the top of the gunnel isn't flat when in the water, so if I rotate it in or out, the grill will tilt, eliminating the effeciveness of being able to rotate in for ease, and out for safety and cleanliness. The option I have is to shim it so it is flat, which is always a possiility, but it is going to be difficult to not have it look funny on such a small surface area as that mount. The question I have is whether anyone has tried mounting the kettle grill to the bimini support poles?

I wouldn't leave it out there while underpower, just at anchor. My main worry is whether it gets the grill far enough out to not put heat and grease up and under the bimini. The picture doesn't look it, but then again, it is only a picture.
Thanks.
