I went to the Louisville Boat Show today just to help fight the winter blues and happily realized that the boat I have is more exactly what I want than other models. I mean that comparing the layouts and features of similar size/style models to my 2005 H250, I am even more confident that I have the best overall boat for my preferences. They didn't have a new Four Winns H260 there, but I am talking about my boat vs. the new models of other about 26 foot bowriders (and deckboats). We looked at Cobalts, Chapparalls, Crownlines, Sea-Rays, Ebbtides(23'), Yamahas, Hurricanes, Tahoes, Rinkers, and others. I was expecting to find myself lusting after the Sea Ray, Cobalt, and Chap, but was unimpressed by these. Small ski lockers, tiny coolers, and poor layouts in general were noted, along with bad colors and some uncomfortable blocky seats. The Sea Ray had it's cooler accessed in the floor, which is about the only place worse than under a seat like on my H250. At least I have a full sized cooler in a hard to access space. Also we noted that many of the boats we saw utilized variations of tans for the interiors in place of white. I didn't like it much. There are many things about my FW that I think should have been done differently, but compared to these I am happy.

That is my favorite way to leave a boat show.

+1. I just don't understand the layouts of most runabouts these days. Too much emphasis on rear sunpads taking away valuable cockpit space in my opinion. Like you, I have yet to find a 24-28' bowrider that I would prefer over my H250.

Yeah, I agree. Overall I am very pleased with with my 2005 H250 - (I just wish I had the engine you have).

Went to the Chicago boat show & had no desire at all to buy anything - prices are crazy on the new stuff. Can't imagine how they expect to sell much given the current state of the economy.
