I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be exiting the boating community for awhile. It pains me to even write that. The memories that our boat has provided us with friends and family over the past 8 years are memories that we will never forget. I have come to know several of you and shared my boating experiences with you. Everything from DIY follies, fixes, and snaphoo's to the Chicago Loop Cruise, to our weeklong adventure on Lake Michigan a couple years back, it's been great. Four Winns makes the best boat the market has never heard of and this forum is one of the best owners forums around.

We aren't permanently leaving boating but it's time for us to refocus our time and resources with our young family for the time being.

I did list the boat in the Buy/Sell forum. As April 1st kicks off the boating season officially for many of you in the Midwest and similar climates, I hope you all have a hassle free season and if that not be the case, well, I hope you keep your temper in check!

Sorry to hear you are not boating (but glad you are still one at heart and will return). Just think though, you sound like when you plan to return you will be introducing (bonding, playing, and making BETTER memories) with your family (or as I understand) and recent addition. Congrats.

April Fools?? Well if this isn't an April Fools joke then I wish you all the best and hope for a speedy return to the boating community! On the other hand if you have trouble selling your boat(not that I'm hoping you do)..life vests come in sizes as small as 6 months old :D

I was wondering when you'd be posting this up JC.

Bummer. I'm looking forward to a season with my 2 year old. Let's hope he enjoys it as much as I do.
