Haha - although we have been a hundred times in the past, its not been a spot weve hit this year. We planned on it, but bailed out last minute. We typically hang at a place known as Family Cove, about a mile from Party Cove.

But...if you want to party hard on Lake Lewisville, this is the place.

Ah, mammaries, I mean memories.

Seriously, I don't miss party cove. Too many idiots with very large boats drinking too much alcohol. I once watched a beef cake in a 26'+ Baja get pissed a Jet Skier for eyeballing his topless girlfriend (who wasn't?). Fired it up, took off after him and ran him *over*. Cops *everywhere*, asking everyone questions, lecturing, etc.

That was a long day.

I miss it every once in a while. Seven years ago, I probably would have known half the people in those pics. Not anymore!! Every time I pull my camera out, I feel like a pervert. Maybe I should just wear a press badge next time and get some close ups!

Looks like all college age kids. Is that a typical summer weekend or spring break?

Another reason to stay away from Lewisville, way to many kids drinking, way to many idiots, and, to many deaths related to boating accidents and stupidity, Im sure they have fun but I'll stay where Im at.

Well, it's not that bad. It's a HUGE lake. All of the idiots tend to stick to the same area / marina. If you stay away from them, there is rarely an issue.

When I'm on Lewisville, I stay as far from Sneaky Petes, the dam area and Pier 121 as possible. Cigarette boats, beef cakes and colossal drunkenness.

I'm surprised the cops/nat. resources/coast guard don't hound those guys like crazy. I see allot of young people and allot of alcoholic.

They do. At any given time, there will be two or three lake patrol boats in party cove.
