Haven't seen one of these threads running around yet...

The dealer show is around the corner... Aside from the H200, what do folks think/know/expect will be changing for the 2012 model year?

Anything interesting?

Who needs a new boat for the impending Apocalypse??? All good questions.... I still hope they change the color scheme back to the pre-2008 style on the SS's. Don't care much for the black under-belly.

I know. My only prediction is that there will be no 2013.

All small moves in the entry boats.. the new H200 will actually debut as the new H210... the H180, 190, 200 will have new names and one model might disappear. Nothing new on the cruiser scale.

It appears that Fourwinns is making new molds for Horizons (H)…… Small bowriders first then larger one.. By 2013 model they should have all new H series out….. However, what they need is new Funship molds since they are face lifting same molds for longer than 10 yeas… I understand SL was one of the attempts for replacement of Fun Ship? However, it cost much higher…. Now new Horizon have SL`s tail so new Fun Ship should have a nose of SL? ….. That is my prediction… Either way I hope Four Winns step up to do something soon.. Otherwise Crownline is getting very tempting...Image

PS… I bet current Horizon(H) molds will be introduced as a "new" line of Glastron or Larsen line with different finish.. We saw similar moves before from Multi brands companies.

Do not wager alot of money on that bet. Since Larson is no longer part of Rec Boat Holdings (Four Winns, Glastron, Wellcraft) you won't see any Larsons' running around in Horizon mold hulls. Different plant, different owners, different manufactiuring. You will see some all new hulls from Glastron in the runabouts this coming year, but will not resemble any Horizon from the past.

Are you saying that the 200 is now going to be called a 210 by adding the swim platform into the overall length or are they just going to make a larger boat once it goes into production?

However.... My heart is still with FW.... I really really love our current boat and as a respect I am banking on new H260 .......When it comes out next year I will give a year to things to get sorted out.... Then I would be ready to get a new one.... Come on Four Winns..... You do not want see me with a E6 do you!..... I hope you will do right for building a new 260.... :D

yes the swimplatform is molded in so as in the foot steps of the V series.. the new H200 is really going to be called H210 because of its overall length
