We had zero clouds, winds out of the SW at 1 knot and gusting to 1.5 knots, water temp was 75 and just as flat as it can be...I will let most of the pics speak for themselves

Hard to tell...but this is my 4 1/2 year old driving the boat at about 30 mph. Of course with me right on top of him. But that is the great thing about big water...I can teach him things about handling the boat and not really worry about what he might hit or cut off.

Great Pics! It was definitely one of the best days of summer for us folks in MI. The worst part of the day for me was that I forgot to bring the camera. We did the usual hang out at the sand bar on torch, go do some tubing, and then some swimming as we floated (yes Torch Lake is finally warm enough).

Great Pix Mark. I can't believe how big the twins are getting. Looks like you guys were playing just north of the North Shore area.

Dave...you are right. They are growing fast as I am sure you guy is. The beach we stopped at was about 3 or 4 miles north of the Muskegon channel. Then rand up to Whitehall and back in the afternoon.

Beautiful pix, and water. My twins turned 16 last week, and seem like they should still be in a stroller. I don't know where the time goes.

Nice run. Did you start in Grand Haven or put in at Muskegon? GH to Whitehall is quite a trip.

We have been putting in at Muskegon due to the beach access even if the lake is rough. The kids thrive there. GH/Spring Lake spending all day on the boat gets old to them quickly. We probably ran close to 30 miles in total which was great.

Grrr. That looks way better than when we out to Muskegon a couple weeks ago. In fact that looks perfect. For some reason I hear Tim Allen's voice describing your perfect day with all the right words then ending with "Pure Michigan".

Gosh, I love this state. I was up in the UP this weekend. I wasn't boating, but we did get a short little tour by boat of the St. Mary's river.

Had no idea that lake water could be so clear.
