Due to one thing and another, we took the boat out for the first time this year. As it's up for sale my son came along, it could be the last chance he gets.
As he's into fishing we took the rods along and headed out into the bay to a reef about 5 miles offshore.

We were having some beers, he was fishing up the front.

Something huge chases his bait to the surface.

Turns out to be this fella.

By slapping a Mackarel on the surface we manage to entice it to the swim platform.

It then came out the water and took the fish right out of his hand.

This is a wild seal 5 miles out at sea (not a Disney theme park) we regularly have bottlenose dolphins swim alongside the boat as well. It makes me feel so humble and lucky.

How can you sell your boat when you have access to nature like that? Thanks for sharing.

Those are excellent pics. I just showed them to my 8 year old son and he had a big smile on his face. We don't get many seal sightings in the fresh water great lakes where we boat. :)

That is absolutely the greatest!. I live in Miami and saw a couple of dolphin swimming around but by the time I grabbed my camera had no idea where they went. Good luck selling the boat. Joe from Miami 8)
