I will be heading to the Hollow tomorrow!! How often do you come to our little slice of heaven? Love the video & the Rush t-shirt. Maybe we will see you there sometime. Drop by Easystreet at Sulphur Creek the next time you are there and say Hi! :D :D

Dale Hollow Lake. OMG this is killing me. Have not been there for about 10 years. Best lake in TN. Norris is only bout 30 min from my home and is easily the best in E. Tennessee. Got to get the boat floating.

I prefer Dale Hollow for the quality of water, but we really wish the quality of marina's and surrounding area was more inviting. Our typical mode is to stay at Holly Creek cabins, spend the day on the water and eat at a marina. To be honest, the only place worth eating at is Cedar Hill (in our opinion). Other places typically have bad, overpriced food, and service is terrible. This has repeated over several years. I understand that a certain portion of the business there is seasonal, but we really struggle to find an inviting place. Secondly, the surrounding communities are so desolate...

On the other hand, we really love the modern feel of Norris. Usually stay at Waterside Condo's and were only minutes away from highly civilized stores, wakeboard shops, good marinas, etc.

I'm not trying to sound like a "cork sniffer" regarding Dale Hollow...just sayin' it can be a little too dated at times.

thanks for the comments.

You're not supposed to "sniff the cork". Just confirm the cork is the same winery as the label and look for sugar crystals.
