My wife, son, and I, for our annual 2-week boating vacation, decided to travel up the Canadian side of Lake Huron from our home port of Lighthouse Cove, Ontario, Canada as far north as Port Elgin, Ontario (about 350 miles round trip) during the first two weeks of July.
Below are a couple pictures from this vacation.
My wife is eyeing up whether or not we'll make it under the bridge in Port Huron, Michigan (without waiting for the bridge to open). Hmmmm . . . will we, or will we not?

Made it, with inches to spare!
Where else can you have this much fun?

No trouble getting under this one. This bridge is the Bluewater Bridge which connects Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to Port Huron, Michigan, USA. This bridge is the southern entrance into Lake Huron.

My wife and son enjoyed the beach at sunset in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada.

Our boat in the marina in Port Elgin, Ontario.

Helm picture at sunset. What kind of nut takes a picture of his helm at sunset when he should be enjoying the beauty of nature with his wife? (PS My wife thought this comment should be added.)

On our way home we stopped at our favourite swimming hole in Lake St. Clair. My son is enjoying a good leap off our swim platform.
