I have had my H180 for about 6 months now, but don't like the amount of wind that comes under the windscreen in the walk thru area.

After doing some research I discovered that the twin folding doors were only available for H200 and up in the model range.

Time to put the thinking cap on and come up with another idea. After looking around at some other ski boats, noticed that some of them had a slide in screen idea, so this is what I came up with over the weekend and a couple of hours after work on a couple of nights.

Some playing around with getting the tracks square to start of with.
Made it a little longer on top to eliminate the gap between the top egde of walk thru and bottom of windscreen.
Finished it off with some white edging (cement sheet edging) to blend it in with the white of the boat and a little extra edging down the sides also acts as an indicator for how far to push the sheet into the tracks, so that it doesn't go in to far, rub and eventually mark.

If I had of had the tools and the expertise, I would have made a hold in the top of it to match the contour of the walk, but that is just me being to anal....lol

Pretty happy with the final result... :D :D :D

Great idea! On my H180, I made a wind screen from white vinyl and just used the existing snaps around the windshield and the floor to snap it in place. It worked ok, but didn't look nearly as nice as yours. The one good thing about my set up was that I could roll it up when not in use and it didn't take up hardly any space.

With my current boat, I just leave the bow cover on during those colder days to keep the wind out. Kind of a PITA, but it works.

Great Job.. Clean looking job. Is that a screen or glass insert. Where did you get your center cushion. I want to find one for our boat and then add a window like yours. Great Idea. Keep the wind off you in the evenings when its cooler. Great Job.

fiznuka........ Hunted around with various aluminium extrusions until I found the one that suited the job.

Toddely....... It is a sheet of 5mm plexiglass, that I cut to suit. Bow fill in cushions were ordered from Four Winns. For this model (2008) two are required to fill the area. If memory serves, spares parts referred to them aa fill in cushion bow and fill in cushion aft. Definately worth having and made the job of cutting out the wind in the walk thru area alot easier.
