Updates? Not much has been done, rainy season started. Finally.

Changed insurance from BoatUS to Geico. $60 cheaper a year, and MUCH MUCH better coverage. It's laughable how much more you get for less with Geico compared to BoatUS's offerings.

Spoke with the vinyl guy about 30 minutes ago, he can re-do just the top gray part on my vertical bow cushions that looking crispy. Said would fix it all for under $200 with parts/labor. Will bring him the seat backs tomorrow. That will bring my interior back to nearly 100% perfect condition.

Need to find a window tinter that won't charge an arm/leg to do the glass 5% black.

Purchased a Garmin 441s off a forum member and already ordered a RAM mount and hacked the Bluechart G2 Vision maps for my area. I can't wait to get that installed!

Since the boat is out I'll do the normal acid hull wash and wax.

OH, I still have to make the aluminum/carbon fiber radio mount. I can start on that tonight. AND order new switch covers.

Ric -I have the 546 and used the Ram mount. You have a different helm layout, but just to give you an idea. Crappy pic, but you get the Idea.

Thanks for the picture! I was looking and looking, without the GPS in hand not sure, but I *might* be able to mount it without the ram mount without blocking the fuel gauge too much. Dunno.

Yes, I can mount it without the RAM mount in that location with trimming a little fat off the Garmin plastic mount. I started working on it last night but I had some bad food Sunday for dinner and been dealing with that. I'll see if I can get it mounted with pictures tonight.

New switch covers from Pacer Group AND Garmin installed. Only took slight modification to the bracket to fit. I opted for no lens on Anchor position, it tends to get distracting when it's dark.

I think I'm going to fill the 4th switch hole with a power switch for the Garmin and a chart plotter switch cover. There's the setting in the Garmin for Auto-On when power is applied. Not needed, but it will make the gauge cluster look better instead of just having a filler panel.

Anything new? Not really. Having the bow backrest cushions redone. The top gray was getting crispy brown and they're the most visible seats on the boat when passengers are involved. Everything else is 9/10 condition so it stuck out bad. Local guy, $35 each (x4).

Tint guy is coming at 530, but I'm not sure if the weather will cooperate.

EDIT, nevermind. That dbag wanted $200 to do it using llumar at his shop. NEXT!

Sun damaged bow back rests? $140 took care of that.

Since I'm trying to sell I purchased a new alternator, it's been bad. Charging output has only been 12.8-13v in the last few months. That's fine for me because I solar charge when docked but I don't want anyone to complain.

$78 shipped off Amazon

New alternator is in.. much quieter too. I guess the old one had bad bearings that made noises.

Next project? Dynamat engine compartment or mount bucket seat and remove folding captain's lounger. That might come first, I'm tired of sitting on the backrest it's not comfortable.
