Hey all, just wondering how many lake Erie boaters are out there. I'm in Columbus Ohio but we boat off middle bass island. Going to take our boat up in a couple weeks. Should be great. We have our fathers boat up there now.

Yep. We dock in East Harbor. Just had a another great weekend up there and will continue doing the weekend thing all summer.

We plan on taking a trip up there in the next month. It will be our first time with our boat on Erie. I am a little worried, but also excited too!

I was at crystal beach last year. Nothing like going towards the Niagara river in the middle of the lake and watching the depth guage go from 20 ft to 2 ft in no time! Bet you will have a few pucker moments of your own.

We dock at Emerald necklaces in Rocky River. Planning on doing the Put-in-Bay thing in a couple weeks. Soo looking forward to the Lobster Bisque!

Just sold my last boat (255 Sundowner) to a kid that launches out of Luna Pier!

However, I boat on Lake St. Clair out of my homeport, Harrison Township. I do try and make the trip to Erie at least 1x a year though.

Ahh the lobster bisque. I had some Sunday as well as the " King Crab legs ". $40 a pound right now. I about crapped myself. But I had to do it. Boardwalk made some money last weekend.

how busy was the boardwalk? With this weather going from warm, to cold, to warm, to cold... I was wondering if it was affecting things at the islands.

The Boardwalk was actually busy. We had a 45 min wait just to get upstairs. so we ended up downstairs. lol Put - in - Bay wasn't that busy for memorial day. Hopefully things will pick up for the islanders. This is there time to make bank.
