...ok, sure buddy whatever you say. I will say that I have experienced more horrible boating practices on the coast by people on there way in or out of a marina and they had a seven figure boat. I bet you that someone who trailers their boat to a ramp on a regular basis is a more skilled pilot than someone who slips their boat. Money doesnt buy brain cells
If you say so. I'm sure there's plenty of examples either way. It's been my experience that avoiding ramps is the first step in stress reduction. Just avoid the nonsense entirely. Second step is a marina with divided slips (the finger piers). Third is a more expensive marina. By the time people are paying that much money they're *generally* more interested in maintaining the value of the experience. This usually translates to less stress for everyone.
But hey, I'm just going the experience of having followed that process as it exists out here on the Chesapeake. I'd imagine local lakes and such might have a different experience, so YMMV.
