I leave mine set to 78 just to keep it nice and dry, so far so good. Two other boats around me do as well.

Also consider how much you use your A/C when you do use your boat. It's not always a good idea to never use something and then expect it to work when you want it to. If you set it high it won't always run and will ensure its in good working order when you need it most.

I set mine to this mode. It'll show "HU" on the two-digit panel display. It basically just runs the system every once in a while to help keep the humidity levels down. The period can be configured, but I seem to recall it's around 15 minutes or so.

I leave just the blower running; moving air alone seems to prevent mildew. I used to use an oscillating fan which worked as well.
