My Head shower is leaking at the single lever shower mixer handle. I removed the handle to see if there was a washer or something else that needed to be replaced. However, the internals for the shower mixer seem to be self-contained and not sure how to dis-assemble to stop leakage.

Has anyone had to replace the shower handle mixer from ShurFlo? It looks like part #134-0602-CP from ShurFlo.

I would think its just a simple washer or valve that has gotten old and needs to be replaced.

Thanks, Joe

I had the same type of leak. ShurFlo sent me a replacement assembly free of charge. Mine was only 2 years old at the time. I was able to figure out what I needed based on the website drawings. Otherwise, call Shurflo, they were very helpful.

I tried to find a piece at the local hardware store but no luck.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice.

I called ShurFlo and while they no longer distribute these products they pointed me to the correct distributor. Ambassador Marine has taken over the distribution. So, I called them and they were very helpful. I was able to order the specific part which was E-507109 (Ceramic Disk Cartridge) for $14.99 versus the entire shower mixer handle which listed for $166.

I have not received or installed yet but keeping fingers crossed that this will be an easy installation and it resolves the leakage.
