I took the pressure side hose off the raw water pump (the long skinnier one) and hooked that to the front port of the exhaust manifold. A garden hose fits perfectly in there and just use the clamps to tighten it all. I then just used my fingers to plug the holes that are open and my neighbor would hold the hose and release it... getting a big surge of water. After a few times of that all this black shat came out the exhaust. Problem solved.
Sounds like a good plan, I have a 7.4, but I am sure I can figure out how to get this done. I am thinking I sucked something up since I ran fine one day, and literally the next day it was overheating, even idling.
