Hello friends, a strange thing happened to me, i have opened the water deck fill to fill the boat with water and found that the screw that hold the chain to the tap has fallen into the water tank, its impossible to bring it, do i have to worry about it maybe it will rust in the water tank?

thanks

It will take along time to break down. But I would not drink that water, screw or not.

I personally would not drink water from a holding tank solely due to taste, but, If he doesn't mind the taste, what could possibly be wrong with drinking water from a tank with a stainless steel screw in it?

If I'm not mistaken.......Residential plumbing pipe, parts and pieces have been made from galvanized steel, copper, brass, black iron, stainless steel, and dozens of various plastic compounds.........
