First time we have been on this lake, and we were amazed at the clarity and deep blue color of the water.

Had to google Torch Lake to confirm the clarity because it looks more like the Caribbean. Sure wish our lake had a sandy bottom like that. Nice.

If only the water was as warm as the Caribbean

I hope you had a great time on my home lake Cap'n and didn't find any stumps in Skegamog.

The water temp at the sand bar was just over 70 degress that day. My wife and I went swimming a couple times, both in Torch and Elk Lake. Did not hit any stumps or rocks at all. You are very lucky to be able to call that lake home.

Nice. It was 80 degrees yesterday but your front came through and it only got up to 60 today and windy. Put the canvas up. Winter here we come.

Thanks! That will be it for me this season, unless I can grab a ride on some sailboats. I was gonna tough it out til Nov, but I have a chance at a good deal on indoor storage if I get it there within a week, soooo, my season is done.

Hi NiagraChillin.

Love your pics. Have just been on a holiday all through your area and it sure is beautiful. Travelled around Ns, PEI and the Lakes.
Your country is made for boating. Winterizing seems like a pain. Glad we don't do that.
We're just getting ready for a great summer. Stay warm.

Howdy, those places are great for holiday, if ya ever get back this way again, you have to go to the Thousand Islands, just a bit NorthEast of here. absolutely beautiful there. Yes, winterizing is a pain, but its a great excuse to have a few beers, smoke cigars and really get to know your boat inside and out. Enjoy your summer!

This morning, spent the night out with the GF. Perfect weather, upper 60s this morning. Small lake and small boat, doesn't matter. I'm the only one :)
