Nice boat! Love the mods. I like your "blue moon" pictures. Nothing better than a good night ride across the lake.

Is that a carpeted MDF subwoofer enclosure?
That'll last a season at best - if it is!
p.s. What Wrms are you feeding it?

Yes, but it's also $20 shipped. $20 a year is okay with me. To make something more "weather proof" will cost more than 3+ years of buying carpeted MDF boxes and I don't plan on having it 3 years. 220w RMS. I ordered the LED strip lighting in blue today. In a week or 3 I should get it and I'll wire it to the courtesy light switch.

Thermostat is still sticking randomly, but a good juice on the throttle will stick it back open. I'll call the local VP dealer and order one monday. I could take it out for the time being I suppose.

Smart tabs once all the cosmetics are taken care of. Cosmetically I still need to have it buffed out, install those LED strips, get some cuddy cushion covers made, and work on what I plan on doing with the bimini. I really want a "convertible" style top with sides and a zip in back like the picture below. I still want to sell the boat, not for more space but for better seating layout. Having it all "hooked up" might help it sell faster hopefully... and if not... at least I get to enjoy it til it does sell. Still waiting to get defination of boat length. If it's a "measured" 22 LOA, I'll go ahead and get my dream sundowner 205 and just unbolt the swim platform. With the going rate of 205's and what my boat is worth I'll come out ahead nicely. Me and the GF sleep out in it every friday/saturday night. She loves it.

Good stuff, Ric.
Does it not get wet? I'd think it would start swelling as soon as any water hits it!
For $15 of MDF and some brush on timber sealer (in your choice of color), it'll last a very long time...

It's sealed/factory covered with carpet and glue. I don't plan on getting it wet, it's covered by a seat and the boat is always covered.

Why not just spray the carpet with some scotch guard to water proof it?

A can of scotch is the price of a new subwoofer box. I'll see how long this one lasts, rainy season is over so it might stay good til next June... but you're right the scotch guard will probably solve any accidents.

Yay! My 5m roll of blue LED strip arrived in Chicago today. I'll have to hit up the local supply store and start gathering up the wiring supplies for it's installation. Just in time for daylight savings

LED's will be my first spring mod, well that along with speakers and an amp. I got some ones off of ebay for my bar in my basement that were remote controlled and 1000+ colors. You can control different program patterns, brightness and color. They were waterproof strips. LED's are such a simple mod; it amazes me everyone doesn't have them!

Yup. $15 shipped from China for waterproof blue LED strip with 3M (lol right) backing. Another $5 in wiring supplies to connect to my courtesy light and done. I honestly think it's the cheapest and coolest thing you can do to a boat. I had some on my john boat a few years ago around the outside that lit up the area for fishing at night. Worked quite well.

Well, I set my boat up with a broker today. I can still use it until it sells, he does 99% overseas to the UK/Aus. He's taking 10% and after checking it over is very positive to get a minimum of 25k for it. Apparently those folks love small cuddys since mine will fit in a standard container

Still waiting on clarification on max LOA for docking at home.. Is it 22.0ft or 22.11, hand measured or what's on title, etc..

I just don't want this Stingray anymore. There's a few boats that come to mind (205 sundowner, 214fsc monterey)..
