I'm intrigued, if it's been helicoiled propely, the new thread is actually better/ stronger than the original one in the casting. Why do you need to change it ?
I am. Told by my marina that the dip stick is not making a proper seal...that being said i did not see any evidence to tell me that. The fluid is not milky. I just want to make it right and do not want to find out the hard way. The boat is high and dry right know and i don't want to have any issues down the road. The boat was only in the water for 1 month last season, the previous owner did not have it in the water
