OK ric-- no bragging about Florida. In about 2 months it will be warming in NC and in 3 months all the snow birds will start leaving Florida, cannot stand the heat.

Meh. Ric is up north from here. lol

Maybe this helps get us through.
This is us leaving port Severn heading in to Georgian bay. Not much to it just us cruising along.

Not rubbing it in guys, but here in God's Country it is simply awesome.....low 70 in day....shorts and T-shirt....I'm mowing the yard for second week in row. I know its a false spring but I am thankful regardless.

Thanks for the video, it might be one for the archives to show your kids in years to come. The water is down 2-3 feet since your trip, our friends hit a drive going into the potato island channel cut last fall. Very scary what's happening with the water, and no way this channel will be passable next year I fear.

I just signed the petition "Restore our Water" on Change.org.
It's important. I'd ask all boaters sign it too. Here's the link:
http://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/r ... ur-water-2

Thanks!

Too bad I can't post when the contest really got interesting with pretty much it becoming a strip club out in the sun. Holiday Isle and alcohol and these cuties makes for a fun time for all. :P

Don't know if you guys remember or not; 2 weeks ago we moved into a water front home on the Trent. With yesterdays blizzard, I can't even see my dock today. :( I hate this crap! It's good drinkin weather though. I bought myself a lawn tractor with a snow blower attachment. I'm, betting I'll be heading to Sears for the weight and chain kit that the wifey said I wouldn't need.

got hit with 26 inches of snow and its still blowing and snowing slightly. I am thankfull we never lost power. with over 170,000 homes without power in RI I am lucky again. I will post some pics later. now back out with my trusty shovel and strong back....

My thoughts and prayers for all those without power and heat. hopefully a fast recovery

Watch the news or at least read the content of this post ric.

Being a Canadian, I keep an eye on our brothers to the south. My thoughts and prayers go out to those without power.

48 hours without power, and finally got back on today. Temp inside the house dropped to 38 before power came back on. With small children, we were lucky to be able to find a hotel room to spend Sat night. Last night, 94% of our town did not have electricity...I still have a lot of friends without...

I came back to the house today to drain the water system and there was a power crew up the road. I stopped and chatted with them and they were from Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Santa Fe. One of them said he wanted to come back and see the Cape in the summer, so I told him I would take him fishing if he did come!! A couple hours later, we had power and came back home. Its now 65 and warming right now!!
