Can someone tell me what model number I need for replaceing my impeller. I have a 1990 4.3 OMC cobra drive. Also Do I need to get the repair kit as well or jus the impeller?

The repair kit would be handy for the gaskets, but you can get those seperately for less $$$.

Thanks. One thing I forgot to add, is that since OMC parts are getting harder to find, I would order a few of them to have on hand in case they become discontinued.

I was talking to the guy at West marine yesterday on the phone in Indy and he said that NAPA auto parts sells the exact same thing, but the price was about $7.00 higher. Do they do boats like cars? What I mean is for cars they have to make car parts for i think 10 years after a car goes out of production, but do they do it for boats?

Hmmm, good question. I think every company goes by the same standard (10 years). But for common engine and electrical parts, they never stop producing. SB Chevy and Ford for example. I do know that NAPA has a good sized marine side to their business, but usually you have to order the parts from the dusty marine catalog they keep under the counter. Majority of their business is car parts.... 8)
