Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they even offered IPS in the 2003 year. That and I think the 8.1s are in-board driven, not sterndrives. So all this is rather moot regarding that 378.

k just an update we ended up with the 2007 358 main reason being that dealer treated us right on are trades an was sitting with the right price for the market . the dealer with the 03 378 was $28,000 lower on trade value so kinda made my choice easy
