Conditions were perfect for what we call a "Blow Out" Low Tide in New Jersey.
Full Moon, westerly winds, extreme low tide.

P.S. Chips in the swim platform are courtesy of P.O. I rescued this boat from his destructive ways!

Have a road trip planned to Nova Scotia, I'll be visting the Bay of Fundy. I'll post some comparison pics when I get back.

Dang, that's not a sight I'd want to see. At least those were floating docks! Otherwise it'd be ugly to see what would go wrong with boats hung from their cleats and such.

At least the guys with outboards can pull their drives outta the muck. I would make sure your water intakes are cleaned out, taz.

I had the same thought about the drive, I have to keep mine up for these same reason, sometimes we get tides like that and wind up with 2-3 ft of water under the boat.

Yep, did all the necessary precautions and now leave the OD up when I'm not there. This tide was an anomaly. We were dry!
